Dr. Aydin Atilla, MD
Founder & Owner · Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
Dr. Aydin Atilla founded Florida Keys Medical Associates with a vision of making high-quality, accessible healthcare available to the entire Keys community. Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics since 1997, he brings over 30 years of experience to his work.
Dr. Atilla currently serves as Medical Director of the Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine program at Lower Keys Medical Center, where he has built and led a comprehensive inpatient care program for the 165-bed hospital. His deep roots in Key West and passion for community-centered care are the foundation of everything FKMA stands for.
Dr. Jennifer Charity, MD
Internal Medicine · Seeing Patients 18 & Up
Dr. Jennifer Charity is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. A Dartmouth College graduate (Class of 1999), she is known for her sharp clinical mind and her ability to truly listen — taking the time to understand each patient's full picture before making decisions.
Dr. Charity has developed deep expertise in the management of hypertension and diabetes, with a patient-centered approach that emphasizes education, prevention, and long-term wellness. She is also certified to issue Medical Marijuana certifications in the state of Florida. She sees adult patients 18 and older.
Marilee Meeler, PA-C
Physician Assistant · Seeing Patients 14 & Up
Marilee Meeler is a Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice. She brings a compassionate, thorough approach to patient care with expertise in hypertension, diabetes, thyroid conditions, and ear-related concerns. Marilee sees patients 14 and older.

Temporarily out of Florida? No problem — we can still see you via telehealth as long as you are an established patient of the practice.
We do not accept walk-ins, but we always do our best to accommodate you. If you call or text us, we will make every effort to get you in same day or next day.
How do I request a referral?+
Referrals require an appointment with your provider. We can accommodate same day or next day visits — either in office or via telehealth — to get your referral processed as quickly as possible.
Can I do a telehealth visit if I'm temporarily out of state?+
Yes! As long as you are an established patient of FKMA, we can see you via telehealth even if you are temporarily out of state.
How do I request my medical records?+
Email us at fkma@keysmed.com requesting your records. We can send them to you directly via email, or to the provider of your choice — just include their fax number or email in your request.

Dr. Jennifer Charity sees adult patients 18 and older. Marilee Meeler, PA-C sees patients 14 and older. We are currently accepting new patients!
